Streams audio ok, but I bought it for video which it doesnt do from Windows Media Player 11. Shows first frame then nothing. Too bad, I should have read the support information first.

Excellent app when used as a remote control for J.River Media Center. PP "gets" the Ipod user interface. Fantastic support. Buy it!!!

I use this program as my control interface to stream FLAC media from my Twonky server to my Linn Klimax DS to play music through my high fidelity system. As soon as I activated WiFi on my iPhone, PlugPlayer found my Linn Klimax DS as a renderer and my Twonky media servers in two QNAP 409 NAS(es?). No hassles and easy. One thing changed recently is that now I am now able to use PlugPlayer 3.1.3 to stream my music to my iPhone including all my music in FLAC!!! When I am home, I never use the iPod player anymore. I store my music in my NASes and have chosen FLAC as my default format. In the past, I wasnt able to play FLAC on my iPhone, but I am able to with Plug Player. However, whenever I truly want that special concert hall experience and have the time to sit still to enjoy music, I use my Linn Klimax DS through my high fidelity system. There is no substitute for quality audio components and Lossless audio when you want to hear the musicians express themselves. Some of the 24 bit stuff available on FLAC is just out of this world! As good as Vinyl but different sounding through my high fidelity system. Thank you Plugplayer for constantly improving your product. I love it.

CRAP APP! Doesnt stream a damned thing music or video. Waste of money!!!

Works flawlesly with my Synology NAS. This is a "must have" app. Well worth the money. Thank you guys.

When controlling a Upnp device from an other iphone, ipod touch or iPad, makes both device lose wi-fi connectivity and crashes the application on both devices. I use Twonkymedia server on a linux machine. If you do not attempt to control you device with Upnp control enabled from another device, it works great.

Keeps getting better and better with every upgrade. My fav app, well worth every penny.

I wasted my money buying this app. It plays mp3, but has very few video codecs. This app only plays one of my videos. Connects to my dns323 fine. 2 stars P.S.I want my money back

Works well with my WD NAS (Twonky media server) and plays FLAC as stated. Would be nice if it could handle avi files too.

I pretty much live inthis app. Theres so much content I now dont have to bother syncing cause I can just stream it in wav in my lan. Thank you so much, and please make the mac version accessible with voiceover. Id tell you on your forums but theres a captcha stopping me from registering.

Running ATv2 (5.0.2) /w XBMC Eden 11.0. UPnP services/functions enabled as reqd. XBMC discovered, browsing music library causes error 119 & 8. Backchatter causes XBMC to reboot crash/exit. Library of 70K+ audio files.

The Good: if you have a home network set up, then this app will likely work they way its suppose to. It detectcs all my storage and media players. (Linn DS, Western D TV and WDHD). I can control all of them. I can even play FLAC on my IOS devices. The bad: developping an app for networks is a pain to any developer, especially if it constantly streams or transfers data. In this case, heavy data in the form of video and music is handled but sometimes with a bit of pain. On a solid network songs are loaded quickly, but sometimes you will loose control of your media renderer - so you cant pause/stop, etc. Its far from perfect but it works well. If this app does not work, its probably not the apps fault, but your networks. Good job Devs. Looking forward to updates or new versions.

Not surprised. DO NOT BUY THIS. IT DOES NOT WORK. IT CRASHES. IT FORGETS SETTINGS. MAYBE MY CURSING IN THE LAST POST WAS WHY IT NEVER MADE IT - IF I COULD CURSE - I WOULD. WASTE OF $$

Always crashed on all my iPhones,from iphone4 to 6

iPhone3GとiPod touch 両方で快適に安定して作動してます。ファームウエアを4に上げた後、一旦削除しiTuneから同期で再インストールが必要でしたが。他の同様のソフトに較べてとっても安いしアップデートも的確だし重宝してます。

Poor features, no trial versions, no way to refund. Just a cheat.

This is a really nice to have application for people that also enjoy media sharing (audio, video, photo) and devices based on UPnP AV (DLNA, Windows), it works very easily. You can play on your iPod/iPhone your media stored on a UPnP AV Server or, using your iPod/iPhone as a remote control, to define playlists to be played on a UPnP AV Renderer in LAN. Compatibility with devices (UPnP AV MediaServers, UPnP AV MediaRenderers) might be an issue, but it has proved working with all of mine (Synology Diskstation, LaCie EDmini with TwonkyMedia; D-Link DSM-320RD). Its good that Apple opens up its end-point devices for compatibility with other multimedia environment. Thanks

This software is good to play audio, but I was not able to play any of the "supported" video formats. Stay away from this.
