I have a bunch of mkv movies and doesnt play them. Wasted my money would like a refund!
Rolled the dice to find an app that would stream my movies. The app loads video "sometimes" & doesnt play all formats. Crashes at times. Deleted 4.99 down the drain
Doesnt play video from wen
Connects fine and lists the folders but when trying to play a video it justs hangs there....
Now cant recognize the media renderer in local network when renderer change port after reboot In version 3.4.0 recognition work fine Please fix this problem
What a waste of my money and time, the app works for 2 mins and then freezes my phone and my tv. Im not even streaming videos, I just wanted to stream my music. Horrible app dont buy, I want my money back
If you have an Xbox One dont waste your money or time. It doesnt work.
I’ve got great speakers hooked up to my Xbox and TV, and I wanted a way to play music on it using my iPhone to select and control the music without being in the room. In other words, I want to be in another room, pull out my phone, select a song, and have it auto play. PlugPlayer does just that!
I have a very large media library, mostly music. I bought this app to stream without having to use the buggy iTunes library extensions. My main goal is to play music and browse the music collection from the family iPhones. Plus: - worked with playing from mediamonkey - works with MP4 videos Cons: - slow at times for no reason (e.g alphabet picker for artists) - klunky UI; separate play/pause buttons; - slow loading/no cache The UI issues would be avoidable if I just wanted to watch movies. UI makes exploring music more painful than I would like.
This app would be fine if it worked. Not great, but fine. It found my UPnP servers just fine, found my renderer just fine, but after selecting an album and playing a track it stops. That’s all it will do, it won’t play the next song unless I manually do it. It also selects another server randomly. I wish there was a free version I could have tested, I have no problem paying 5 bucks if it works, but this does not.
It does exactly what Im looking for. Its a remote control to stream media (iow music) from my NAS / media server to my HTPC / media renderer connected to my AV receiver. Main use case for me is streaming my music library (mostly FLAC) via iPad as the user interface to a DAC/Amp via USB. My main complaint is still the double dip pricing model. This should be an universal app, functionality of the iPad app is no different and does not justify to pay the price twice. Otherwise well worth the price.
